Terms & Conditions
The terms that govern your use of procaredowntown.ca. Last updated July 2026.
Acceptance of these terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website procaredowntown.ca(the “Site”), operated by ProCare Pharmacy & Medical Clinic(“ProCare”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Not medical advice; emergencies
The Site provides general information about our pharmacy and clinic and lets you submit online booking and service requests. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and nothing on the Site should be relied upon as such. Always seek the advice of your physician, pharmacist, or other qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition or medication.
The Site is not intended for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. For non-emergency health advice in Alberta, you can call Health Link at 811. Do not use the Site's forms or messages to communicate urgent or time-sensitive medical needs.
No provider-patient relationship
Using the Site, submitting a form, or contacting us through the Site does not create a doctor-patient or pharmacist-patient relationship. Such a relationship is formed only when you are accepted as a patient and receive care from our physicians or pharmacist in the course of a clinical or pharmacy encounter.
Bookings and refill requests are requests only
Appointment bookings, waitlist submissions, new-patient registrations, and prescription refill requests made through the Site are requests. They are not confirmed or guaranteed until our clinic or pharmacy reviews them and confirms with you directly. We may need to verify your information, assess clinical appropriateness, or contact your prescriber before acting on a request, and we may be unable to fulfil a request. Do not assume an appointment or refill is arranged until you receive confirmation from us.
Accuracy of information you submit
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when using the Site, and to keep it up to date. Providing inaccurate or incomplete information - such as an incorrect PHN, date of birth, medication details, or contact information - may delay or prevent us from responding to your request or providing safe care. You are responsible for the information you submit.
Intellectual property
The Site and its content - including text, graphics, logos, the ProCare name and branding, images, and layout - are owned by or licensed to ProCare Pharmacy & Medical Clinic and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view and use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission.

When using the Site, you agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose, or in breach of these Terms;
- Submit false information, or information about another person without their authority;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, or other users' information;
