We keep the information you submit through this website (such as booking, waitlist, and refill requests) only as long as we reasonably need it to respond to you and meet our record-keeping obligations, then we securely delete it or render it non-identifying - except where we are required or permitted to retain it longer for legal, regulatory, audit, or record-keeping purposes. This follows Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), which does not set a fixed period but requires us to retain personal information only as long as it is reasonably needed for legal or business purposes.

This is separate from your clinical record. Any information that becomes part of your medical record at the pharmacy or clinic is retained in accordance with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) standards and the Health Information Act - generally a minimum of 10 years from the date of your last visit (and, for patients who were minors, until 2 years after they turn 18, or 10 years, whichever is longer).

Security
